About Karen

Karen Kibaara has a vivacious personality that has seen her stand out as a go-getter who never stops because she is tired but because she has achieved that which she sets her mind and heart to.  Her rich experience in mentorship and business management has enabled her to transform the lives of young people as well as guide people set up successful businesses in Kenya.

After completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at The University of Nairobi, Karen pursued a Masters of Arts in Project Planning and Management. She embarked into the education sector in 2014 by setting up a modern Daycare and Kindergarten to cater for the growing Middle Class population in Ruiru, Kiambu County, Kenya. By 2019, under her stewardship the enterprise was able to effectively prepare over 300 learners for entry into primary schools of their parents choice.  At the end of 2019 she handed over the ownership baton of the daycare and kindergarten to an equally passionate person and embarked onto another journey of self discovery and improvement. In 2017 Karen joined Akili Dada’s pool of mentors and she was able to work with young women between the ages of 13 – 19, impacting them with necessary skills as they transition from adolescence into adulthood.  This set them for personal growth and professional success in the 21st century.

Writing has been something Karen enjoys doing and she possess many private journals which she now to taking it to higher level by allowing others to see life though her eyes.
